Living in London can prove expensive, especially if you want to live in Zone 1, have excellent transport links and be close to one of London\u2019s most famous parks. Focusing your attention on properties surrounding Hyde Park may just be a worthy solution. Rental prices to the north of Hyde Park are more reasonable than those to the west, south and east. Hyde Park is 144 hectares of green space, steeped in history and is one of London\u2019s most iconic parks. In the past, it was used for duels, horse racing, exhibitions and during World War II, it was even used as a potato field! The latest is \u20183 Merchant Square\u2019 which has been finished to the highest standard with floor-to-ceiling windows and wide-plank wood floors. Rents here start at \u00a3500 per week for one bedroom apartments, \u00a3750 per week for two bedroom apartments, \u00a31,000 per week for three bedroom apartments and \u00a32,000 per week for a luxe penthouse apartment. Paddington isn\u2019t just popular for its central location; it has one of the best transport links in the UK and is an ideal base for commuters who need to travel in and out of London. Primarily, the area to the north of Hyde Park has period buildings where streets are lined with beautiful white stucco-fronted Georgian and Victorian terraced buildings – many of which have been converted into modern apartments. Rents in period conversions range in a street such as Palace Court from \u00a3300 per week for studio apartments, to \u00a3450 per week for one\u00a0bedroom apartments and \u00a3750 per week plus for two\u00a0bedroom apartments.<\/p>\n
