Since 2004, InStyle Direct has provided premium furnishing solutions for residential properties across London. We are known for our expertise in delivering bespoke furniture packages and turnkey services for landlords, investors, developers, and BTR operators.

As demand in the Build-to-Rent sector continues to grow, we are expanding our BTR focus across both companies and seeking an experienced BTR Sales Executive to help drive this growth.

Join Our BTR Team (Sales Executive Role)

We’re looking for someone who truly understands the Build-to-Rent sector and can play a key role in helping both Benham & Reeves and InStyle Direct grow their presence in this space.

This is a client-facing role where you’ll identify new opportunities, manage key relationships with BTR developers and operators, and work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services—from leasing and management, to furniture packages and interior styling.

From large-scale developments to boutique BTR projects, you’ll represent a dual offering that provides end-to-end solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and manage relationships with BTR operators, developers, and consultants.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the BTR sector through strategic outreach and networking.
  • Respond to BTR enquiries, prepare tailored proposals, and present integrated solutions (furnishing, leasing, management).
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process from enquiry to close, including pricing, proposals, contract negotiations, and project coordination.
  • Work cross-functionally with design, lettings, logistics, and project management teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Maintain and track activity in CRM (Salesforce), providing regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
  • Attend industry events, client meetings, and site visits, always representing both brands professionally.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of sales or account management experience ideally in the Build-to-Rent sector (with a furnishing provider, developer, or operator).
  • Good understanding of BTR project cycles and industry decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to manage complex accounts and sales cycles.
  • Strong communicator and confident presenter with commercial awareness.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficient with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
