Meet our Sales team

Where do you live? I currently live in Pinner, Middlesex which is an outer suburb of North West London.

What do you like most about the properties in North West London? On the basis of their architectural variety and historical interest alone, my favourite are Hampstead properties which are almost unmatched anywhere in London. The way in which charming period properties have been integrated with newer homes gives the neighbourhood plenty of choice and a great village feel. Close proximity to Hampstead Heath while, at the same time, being only 20 minutes away from the West End is another major plus point.

Tell us a little about your property career? Having been in the North London property business for nearly 35 years, I have had the advantage of working with, and alongside, many talented and respected individuals. My early years as a sales negotiator were spent in Mill Hill until I left to join Benham & Reeves Sales under its former owners. Now with the sales and lettings businesses under one roof and the ownership of Anita Mehra, it’s good to be resuming my Associate Director position and heading up the North London sales team.

What are your passions outside work and how do you relax? Being a passionate West Ham United supporter, I endeavour to attend every home match. I enjoy Bikram hot yoga, overseas travel and working on my (admittedly shaky) golf game. My wife and I love taking long country walks and being surrounded by nature.

Which is your favourite part of London? It has to be Covent Garden, with its unique architecture, history and street entertainment, I really love the buzz and excitement.

Tell us a little about your career Since 1998, I have worked in international property sales and have gained intimate knowledge of various Asian markets, initially with Fraser & Co and then with Colliers International. I have led successful sales teams in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Brunei and Indonesia and have developed solid relationships with tier 1 property developers, investors, consultants and banks in these regions. With 14 years of international exhibitions under my belt, thousands of units sold, I’ve enjoyed introducing so many overseas investors to London property and the benefits of investing in this great city.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself I take my personal fitness very seriously and aim to combine gym workouts with a healthy diet and regular bike-to-work commutes.

Where is your favourite part of London? I was brought up in Islington so would have to choose Angel and surrounding areas such as the City and Shoreditch.
