The Hong Kong office of Benham and Reeves Lettings has been established since 1995 and overseeing the Hong Kong operation is Penny Cheung who has been with the company since 2011. She manages a team of multi-lingual staff who between them speak Mandarin, Cantonese and Tagalog as well as English and provide a complete property leasing and management service to clients in Hong Kong, China and Japan. Liaising with our London offices on behalf of clients, the team take care of everything from finding a good tenant to collecting the rent, dealing with repairs and emergencies and managing financial administration. Having a local office eliminates time zone differences and makes owning a London investment property as straightforward as possible for our clients. From taking possession of new, recently bought properties, arranging key handover and snagging services, to furnishing and letting, we provide a one-stop-shop letting and management service from Hong Kong for London property. This also includes any queries about Accounts and Management.

Meet our Hong Kong team

With a degree in Hospitality Management, Penny spent 10 years working for world renowned Mandarin Oriental Hotels.   Joining Benham and Reeves in 2011, Penny worked as a Client Manager before becoming a Director of the Hong Kong office.  Penny has now been promoted to Head of China Desk to look after our Hong Kong and China based clients.  Penny uses her extensive London property expertise to assist Chinese investors with a one- stop service, from advice on London property investment to leasing and property management.  Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, with her wealth of business and cultural knowledge, Penny works tirelessly for clients ensuring the best possible outcome is achieved.
Manny is London born and has lived in the Far East for the past 17 years. He has over 16 years of regional experience in business development and strategic management with local and international listed companies, leading numerous teams spanning different industries. He is passionate about property and with extensive knowledge and experience of the real estate market in London, he works closely with clients in the region to provide a complete property leasing and management service.
Over 10 years’ sales experience gained in the property markets of UK, Australia, Canada and other Asian countries means that Judy brings exceptional people skills to her role as Business Development Director. An ability to maintain strong links with developers, while advising high net worth investors on their portfolio choices is a key asset. Judy’s resourcefulness and drive plays a major part in maintaining the unparalleled customer service that we offer at the Benham and Reeves Hong Kong office.
Alexandra has over 10 years of experience working in various international residential property markets with a strong focus on UK investment. For 6 years, Alexandra played a key role working for the Berkeley Group, a top UK property developer, where she contributed to their successful business expansion in south-east Asia. Alexandra has also gained valuable agency experience formerly working for CBRE and Colliers International and brings with her many transferable skills and a keen eye for developing new business that make for lasting client relationships.
Janice has a degree in Marketing and Management and a career background working in advertising and full-service marketing within the retail and consumer sectors. With strong communication skills, Janice enjoys a good relationship with the Hong Kong media and her experience of planning and implementation of marketing campaigns across multiple disciplines adds valuable skills to our international marketing team.

Makayla has a degree in Business Administration and combines extensive experience in customer services with good organisational skills. Responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to our Hong Kong team, Makayla is efficient and has a keen eye for detail. Her hobbies include movies, music and travel with friends.
