Marketing Co-ordinator (Office & remote working)

An opportunity to join a small marketing team at one of London's oldest Estate Agents, with 21 London branches and 13 International offices.

Summary-

We are looking for a department assistant to join our small team which is situated on the Finchley Road, Hampstead, NW3. This role is full time and offers flexible working, in the office and remotely (by negotiation).

The marketing department is responsible for developing and delivering all marketing activity across the business in support of our trading objectives.

The ideal candidate should be living in London and either have experience of working in the UK property industry, or have a genuine interest in the property sector.

Key tasks-

The Co-ordinator role will suit someone looking for a varied role, without a specific focus on digital. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible mainly for, but not limited to-

  • Answering the phone for the department
  • Co-ordinating content for print adverts, canvassing and magazine editorial for write-ups
  • Managing image libraries; liaising with photographers, third-parties, branch staff and web team
  • Purchasing and record keeping of marketing collateral and organising fulfilment to branches and for events
  • Co-ordinating requests for branch visual media (signage, window & screen graphics)
  • Assisting with offline and online proof reading of collateral, articles, adverts & other media
  • Assisting with co-ordination of digital content for e-newsletters, website, PR & social media
  • Managing content updates on website using CMS and Wordpress and booking in updates with web team (training provided)
  • Assisting with content production for Property Portals (Rightmove, Zoopla et al) and booking in design updates
  • Misc administration for the department including recording invoices, liaising with designers, writers, web team, suppliers, filing, set-up and prep for meetings

Who we’re looking for-

The successful applicant will be a highly organised administrator, probably already working as a Marketing Assistant looking to get more involved, with a keen eye for detail and continuity. The ability to multi-task and work on few projects simultaneously and keep to agreed deadlines is essential.

Someone with a good grasp of ‘London life’ is likely to enjoy this role and must have these key skills-

  • Highly organised and able to prioritise own workload
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to communicate simply and cross-culturally, both written and oral
  • Good listening skills
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with accurate typing skills. Knowledge of/use of Wordpress and Photoshop useful
  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly under pressure
  • Easy-going character as we always have multiple marketing campaigns running simultaneously which require a mature mindset.

For this role, all candidates must have-

Minimum Grade B in English language GCSE

At least one years’ experience working in a marketing environment

Recognised Marketing qualifications would be preferable

Hours- 9am – 6pm Monday to Thursday, finish 5.30pm Friday

Location- This is a hybrid role, working in the office 2 days a week and from home but if the candidate prefers to work solely in the office, this will be considered.

Office location- Finchley Road, nearest Tube Finchley Road (Jubilee Line) or West Hampstead Tube. Finchley & Frognal (Overground – nearest).
