Anita Mehra, Managing Director

For 40 years Anita has been the driving force behind Benham and Reeves’ success as it has grown from a single branch in Hampstead, to one of central London’s oldest, independently owned sales, letting and property management companies. Anita's vision has driven the expansion of the business to offer a complete range of property investment related services from under one roof, from purchase to handover, furnishings and/or refurbishment to lettings and property management.

Anita has also spearheaded the company’s overseas expansion – it now has international offices in China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Middle East, Pakistan, Qatar, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand and Turkey. She travels regularly, visiting the company's offices, meeting clients and discussing property investment strategy, as well as holding property investment seminars, often alongside notable banks, property developers and other international partners.

Marc von Grundherr, Director
Marc has been a director at Benham and Reeves since 2001 and works closely with Managing Director Anita Mehra in the growth of the company in all areas from investments to sales to rentals and tax.

You may have seen Marc within the UK and international media on a regular basis where he is now the property expert of choice for multiple news organisations including the BBC, Bloomberg, Reuters, The Times, Telegraph, Financial Times, News UK and more. His analysis in always well-informed and topical and delivered with a professionalism and passion that news producers seem to like. He is never short of an opinion on the property market.

Marc is also an experienced panellist and webinar host especially when curating subjects such as property investing and the economics of housing domestically and overseas. He leverages his long-term investor contact-book well and is always happy to provide advice and insight to would be property speculators.
Simran Prasad, Director of Property Management

A qualified lawyer (she studied Law with French Law) at UCL, Simran began her career working for a city firm specialising in commercial real estate, before joining Benham and Reeves in 2006. During this time, Simran has put systems in place to streamline administration, enabling the company to compete effectively with much larger organisations. As a result, the company’s property management department has grown substantially – in 2006 it managed 885 rental homes whereas today the department manages nearly 2000 properties for clients, including a growing number of overseas clients.

Today, Simran and her team handle all aspects of property management, ranging from organising repairs to advising on legal issues and keeping clients updated about new legislation.

Vidhur Mehra, Finance Director

Vidhur studied Management Sciences at Manchester University, focusing on accountancy, before going on to qualify as a chartered accountant. He began his career working in investment banking but after several years decided to join Benham and Reeves in 2003. Since then he has expanded the finance department, introducing a broader range of services to encompass all financial aspects of property investment, from collecting rent through to completing tax returns (or ATED returns for overseas companies).

He has also put in place operational procedures and controls which have enabled the company not only to provide a first-rate service to clients, but also to provide the backbone to its successful and continuing growth.

Glen Neligan, Director
Glen joined Benham and Reeves initially becoming the top negotiator in the company, then swiftly moving on to become Area Manager for West London before becoming a board Director.

Glen has been instrumental in driving forward our expansion in West London, helping to build both our lettings and sales business. With a clear policy for giving honest and transparent advice and drawing on his 20 years' experience in London property with strong links to the footballing world, he works closely with clients, investors and developers to creatively maximise their investments.
