As love and romance warm the chilly air on Valentine’s Day, celebrities are looking for cosy places to spend some quality time with each other, while still avoiding paparazzi flash bulbs – that’s definitely the wrong kind of warmth!

When you’ve just starred as Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in a smash hit TV drama, you’ll want to put roots down in an area that is suitably blue-blooded. right? Well, no, actually. Jenna Coleman and Tom Hughes have got their eye on a five bedroom Victorian home (natch!) in Kentish Town that overlooks Rochester Gardens and is bursting with period features. Available for £2 million, it needs work on all its three floors, but real-life couple Jenna and Tom should relish restoring it to its 19th century glory. While they wait for work to be completed, they might renting consider this period beauty in Dartmouth Park.

Hollywood A lister, Keira Knightley once shared a Hyde Park love nest with Pride & Prejudice co-star Rupert Friend, but when that relationship ended, so did the attraction of living right in the heart of the Capital. The three bedroom maisonette is currently being rented out for £1,250 per week and occupies the third and fourth floors of a picturesque period block, tucked away just behind Marble Arch. This three bedroom apartment in secure Merchant Square has a 24 hour concierge which could allay some of her security concerns if she decides to return to her old stomping grounds.

England rugby international, Chris Robshaw is taking a break from causing mayhem on the field and is putting his combative instincts to other uses. Together with girlfriend, singer Camilla Kerslake, he is protesting against a threat to the village atmosphere of Wandsworth in the shape of a “Soviet style” new property development. Wandsworth is a convenient area for Robshaw, as it’s not far from the National rugby headquarters in Twickenham. He could, of course migrate across the Thames until all the building work is finished. There are great apartments close to the river at Kew Bridge West.

With her striking looks, Geordie accent and forthright opinions, Scarlett Moffatt shot to fame on the vox pop show Gogglebox, before winning the I’m a Celebrity….Get Me Out Of Here jungle challenge. The new queen of reality TV is now leaving her native Tyneside and heading south to plan the next phase of her career. She’ll need to be near all the media hangouts and will want to be able to tow her boyfriend through the usual West End night spots, so maybe this home in funky West End hotspot Fitzrovia would fit the bill. Apartments here are within walking distance of the Channel 4 building that helped launch Moffatt’s career. While flat hunting, Scarlett might like to stay near fellow Geordies and kings of the small screen, Ant McPartland and Dec McManus. They live in leafy Chiswick and this nearby apartment looks promising.
