Benham & Reeves Residential Lettings opens new offices

Benham and Reeves Estate Agents is poised to become one of central London’s largest independently owned letting agents with the opening of two new offices. Its 13th office in Wapping is located on News International’s former headquarters. The office is servicing the local area but once St George’s latest development, London Dock, is open, the office will serve investors and tenants at the flagship development. London Dock is one of the largest new-build schemes in London and will eventually boast 1,800 homes, a swimming pool and spa, squash court, screening room and virtual golf course on the 15 acre site.

This week marks the launch of the company’s Hammersmith branch situated on-site at the Fulham Reach development. Located on one of the most covetable stretches of the River Thames, the developer, St George, has just launched Fulham Reach’s latest phase, Faulkner House. With a growing number of investors snapping up properties at the development, this newest outpost will enable Benham & Reeves Lettings to better serve both tenants and landlords at Fulham Reach and in the surrounding area.

This is part of an overall expansion plan by the company which will also open its Marine Wharf office in Surrey Quays in September to serve the Surrey Quays and Rotherhithe areas. This stretch of the river was previously overseen by Benham & Reeves Residential Lettings’ Greenwich office but the decision to open the Marine Wharf office was in response to extraordinary tenant demand.

Also planned is a new Kew Bridge branch, solidifying Benham and Reeves Lettings’ presence on the river. The mix of apartments and penthouses adjacent to the iconic bridge provides a luxurious lifestyle, complete with 24 hour concierge. Benham and Reeves Lettings is already being instructed on apartments at the landmark development and at other properties in the area.

“While some of our competitors are closing offices and just operating through a website, we feel there is nothing like face-to-face contact and a handshake,” comments managing director Anita Mehra, “These new offices will allow us to ensure customer service is always at the forefront. Many of these new offices are also located on-site at large St George developments where tenant demand is high. By being on-site, we will be better able to respond to tenants’ needs quickly”
