New – build developments for sale

New homes

The team at Wapping estate agent Benham & Reeves has in-depth local knowledge of this thriving area of regeneration, which is invaluable to investors considering buying property in this thriving area, one that is now rivalling parts of West London in its popularity amongst young homebuyers and renters.  In fact, Wapping has its own unique postcode, E1W, and the area really does have a unique character of its own too.

With property values still representing excellent value, the area is popular with investors looking for long term growth potential as well as excellent rental demand.  The area has a mix of styles, many reminiscent of its industrial heritage, with most investment properties either warehouse conversions or new build apartment blocks but often echoing that industrial architecture.  But just metres away you will find traditional cobbled streets and riverside pubs that are a reminder that the area used to be one of the busiest docks in London.  Then not far away you will find yourself in another world entirely - at St Katherine’s Dock - where you’ll find glamorous yachts in abundance.

To find out more about Wapping, read our area guide.  And if you would like to talk about some of the stunning properties we currently have available for sale in E1W, contact our sales team for more information.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself I love to run and have run half marathons and marathons in the past.
Where is your favourite part of London and why? Canary Wharf is one of my favourite areas. It has a bustling financial hub with a thriving community, shops and restaurants. The area also features some of the highest specification property developments which attracts city professionals as well as investors from all over the world.

Tell me a little about your property career? My career in property started five years ago and I quickly became branch manager of an estate agents in Docklands. I enjoy finding buyers their ‘dream’ property as well as achieving the right selling price for our vendors and providing a great service experience is really important to me.

What are your passions outside work for relaxation? I enjoy a bit of golf and football as well as dining out, watching new films and attending music events. I’m also a dog lover and find their company very relaxing.
What is your favourite part of London? Covent Garden for its buzz, the market and stunning architecture, it’s such a hidden gem.

What key skills do you bring to your role at B&R? I have worked in the property industry for seven years, first as a reservations manager for serviced apartments and then with Benham and Reeves as a lettings administrator which has helped form the ground work for my current role assisting the salesforce. Efficiency is my watch-word and I like to reflect this in all my tasks. I have a keen eye for detail and also enjoy taking on new challenges.
