Ealing is renowned known for its elegant houses and villas.  This leafy part of West London has for many years been popular with families who love its Victorian and Edwardian properties and open green spaces.  But now the W5 postcode is also known for its residential developments such as Dickens Yard, where the Ealing branch of estate agent Benham & Reeves is based. These sleek, new apartments often appeal to a younger demographic.  Some of these young professionals live in London already but many are now moving here from overseas too.  And that is putting Ealing firmly on the map for investors looking for strong rental yields.

Dickens Yard’s luxurious apartments are ideal investment properties, sought-after amongst professional renters who tend to either work in central London or along the M4 corridor.  Heathrow Airport is just a short tube trip away. Homeowners wishing to buy a property and put down roots here find it offers a real alternative to a more urban lifestyle yetis only a short commute from central London.

Many of our staff live locally so are familiar with Ealing’s amenities, shops, restaurants, excellent schools and tree lined Common so can offer genuine advice to those new to the area.

Our Ealing branch is based within the Dickens Yard development so ideally placed to offer investors a first class sales service as well as a residential lettings and property management service for investors.

Where is your favourite part of London? I was brought up in Islington so would have to choose Angel and surrounding areas such as the City and Shoreditch.

Tell us a little about your career I have been working within the property industry for 15 plus years, covering several sales sectors with specialism in new build sales. Since joining Benham and Reeves as an  investment consultant, I have progressed to sales manager of new homes and resale properties in residential developments, working closely with our international offices and a growing roll of domestic and international investor clients.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself I love to run and have run half marathons and marathons in the past.

Negotiating the best possible price I can and helping people find the home they want is my priority.

What are your key skills and what do you like most about your role? I’m a good listener which really helps with remembering the all-important details involved with most property transactions.
